Homegrown connected lifestyle brand, Noise, has announced a new collaboration with Il Jin Electronics, a subsidiary of Amber Enterprises India (NSE: AMBE), aimed at boosting the production of smart wearables within India. Noise currently manufactures more than 95% of its products in the country and has been a pioneer in localizing component manufacturing.
This joint venture is geared towards fostering the growth of the entire smart wearable ecosystem, according to the company.
Amit Khatri, Co-founder of Noise, expressed, “In the future, this partnership will utilize our expertise to enhance domestic manufacturing, facilitate the expansion of product categories, and drive growth across the ecosystem.”
Counterpoint Research reported that Indian brand Noise demonstrated significant global competitiveness, with an impressive 86% year-over-year growth in the second quarter of this year. Notably, products priced under $50 constituted a substantial 98% of their total shipments. Noise currently ranks among the top 3 smartwatch brands globally, according to Counterpoint.
